Dr. Naman Wahal

Dr. Naman Wahal is an AIIMS-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 12 years of surgical experience and more than 10,000 procedures. He is currently Senior Consultant, Orthopaedics at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Okhla, focusing on shoulder disorders, sports injuries, joint replacements & osteoporosis. A graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr. Wahal completed his MS in Orthopaedics from AIIMS, New Delhi, followed by international fellowships in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at ATOS Klinik, Munich, Germany, Joint Replacement Research at Oxford University, and Advanced Trauma Surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong. Dr. Wahal’s areas of expertise include shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability procedures, acromioclavicular joint reconstruction, multi-ligament knee reconstruction, ACL repair, joint replacement, deformity correction, and revision procedures. He is also an International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) Certified Bone Health Expert, actively promoting preventive orthopaedics and bone-strengthening programs. He is a regular faculty at ISAKOS, ESSKA, and other national and international orthopaedic conferences, with book chapters, peer-reviewed publications, and ongoing research in Frozen Shoulder and bone-preserving arthroplasty. Dr. Wahal combines advanced surgical techniques, holistic rehabilitation, and bone-health management to help patients regain mobility, restore function, and live pain-free, active lives.
