Having obtained his post graduate degree in Orthopaedic surgery from Mumbai, he pursued fellowships in knee and hip Surgery (including robot and computer assisted knee replacement, partial replacements and complex revisions) in Mumbai and South Korea which was also sponsored by University of California (Irvine).
Dr. Pranav Agrawal practices at many prestigious hospitals in Andheri-Juhu- Vile Parle - Mulund (East & West) including the prestigious Fortis Hospital in Mulund and treats patients globally using latest communication technologies. His clinic is near Mithibai college but performs simple and complex surgeries across various hospitals in Mumbai suburbs.
He has a passion for Research & Technology in surgery and his research interests include:
- Robot and Navigation (Computer) Assisted Knee Replacements, partial replacements and complex revision replacements.
- Arthroscopic Ligament reconstructions, repairs, sports injuries and trauma.
- Apart from knee surgery, he has a decade of experience is successful management and rehabilitation of simple as well as complex trauma cases.
He has 8 publications in reputed international and local peer reviewed journals.
He is the Section Editor for orthopaedics of a reputed Indian Journal called "The Indian Practitioner". He contributes regularly to academics in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a reviewer for Indian Journal of orthopedics and also convener of safe arthroplasty practices with the Indian Arthroplasty Association.

His camps include various subjects including preventive treatment of osteoporosis (mainly in women), informing on fall prevention that reduce incidence of fractures in elderly every year leading to less stressful lifestyle.
