He later served as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at St. John’s Medical College and subsequently at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College & KLE’s Hospital, Belgaum, performing complex cranial and spinal surgeries while mentoring young trainees. He then worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Sagar Hospitals, Bengaluru, managing a high volume of neurosurgical cases across both brain and spine specialties. Prior to specializing in neurosurgery, he completed his general surgery residency at JJMMC, Davangere, and worked as a Senior Resident in General Surgery at Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences. RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS & FELLOWSHIP: • Published research on extradural hematoma management in the Journal of Evidence-based Medicine and Healthcare. • Authored multiple papers and presentations during postgraduate studies (ASICON, BNS meet). • Presented e-posters at EANS Congress 2022 (Belgrade) and NSICON 2021 on craniovertebral junction surgery, skull base trauma, and atlanto-axial fixation. • Completed a clinical Fellowship in Endoscopic Spine Surgery under Dr. Kang Taek Lim in Incheon, South Korea.
