Dr. Vinay Dhir

Dr. Vinay Dhir is a senior gastroenterologist with over 30 years of experience, specializing in interventional endoscopy. He is extensively trained in both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, with particular expertise in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). His clinical practice focuses on the endoscopic management of complex gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and biliary conditions. Dr. Vinay Dhir is currently associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai, where he leads advanced endoscopic services and contributes to patient care and innovation in gastroenterology. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Vinay Dhir has contributed significantly to academic research and education in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy. He has authored several highly cited papers in reputed international medical journals and has been invited as a faculty member at multiple global conferences and workshops. He played an instrumental role in establishing one of India’s first dedicated training schools for Endoscopic Ultrasound and continues to be actively involved in structured teaching and skill development programs for young endoscopists.
