Ludhiana, April 15 ,2025: Fortis Hospital Ludhiana has upgraded its Radiology Department by installing the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging technology in the region. The inauguration of the newly upgraded Radiology Department was done by Himanshu Jain, IAS Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana marking a significant step in enhancing diagnostic precision and patient care. The newly upgraded Radiology Department will now house some of the most sophisticated imaging equipment, ensuring faster, detailed, precise and accurate diagnosis. The hospital now has advanced MRI 3.0 Tesla, offering superior imaging clarity, a 128 Slices CT scanner for high-resolution scans and a PET CT (will be functional from next month). The introduction of Digital Mammography will enhance breast cancer screening capabilities, while Digital X-ray Elenzar and Digital Fluoroscopy will provide high-definition imaging for a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
