Dr. Charudatt Vaity is a seasoned intensivist with over 20 years of experience in critical care medicine, both in India and the United Kingdom. As the Director of Critical Care at Fortis Hospital, Mumbai, he leads a comprehensive and multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a 100-bed ICU comprising medical, surgical, cardiac, and transplant services.
Dr. Vaity has been instrumental in establishing and expanding key clinical programs, including ECMO, E-CPR, TeleICU services, and liver transplant critical care. He played a central role in the development of advanced care protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in some of the best patient outcomes in the region.
Internationally trained and certified, Dr. Vaity holds credentials including the European Diploma in Intensive Care, the Fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (UK), and membership in the Royal College of Physicians.
