Dr. Umesh Srikantha is a highly respected neurosurgeon specializing in spine surgery, with over 20 years of experience in advanced neurosurgical and spinal procedures. where he leads a high-volume practice performing 35–40 complex spine surgeries per month, many using minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques.An alumnus of NIMHANS, India’s premier institute for neurosurgery, and a fellow in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery from Nanoori Hospital, South Korea, Dr. Srikantha has significantly contributed to evolving spine care in India. He is actively involved in clinical education, cadaveric workshops, and has delivered over 150 invited lectures and surgical demonstrations nationally and internationally. Dr. Srikantha’s innovative work spans anterior and lateral approaches to spine deformity correction, full-endoscopic spine surgery, and pioneering minimally invasive procedures for spinal tumors and complex degenerative disorders. He has also contributed extensively to research, with multiple publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and several chapters in leading neurosurgical textbooks.
