
55 Visually Impaired Students Take Educative Tour of Fortis Vasant Kunj
Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj, organised an educational visit for 55 visually impaired students on December 22, 2024. The objective was to familiarise them with the hospital's various departments. The initiative provided a hands-on learning experience about the critical role each unit plays within the healthcare system.
The students explored key departments, including Emergency, Day care, TPA, OPD, and IPD, enhancing their understanding of the healthcare environment. Senior clinicians participated in the interactive sessions, including Dr Dhananjay Gupta (Orthopaedics), Dr Hemanth Kumar (General Surgery), Dr Vaibhav Kumar (Pulmonology) and Dr Satyam (Cardiology), among others. They engaged the students with informative health talks and answered questions, ensuring a dynamic exchange of knowledge.
