Ms. Doli Biswas CNO -Fortis Hospital, Anandapur, Kolkata bagged with 2nd Runner-Up Award at National Nurse Leader Summit 2025

Ms. Doli Biswas, Chief Nursing Officer at Fortis Hospital, Kolkata, West Bengal, has been awarded the 2nd Runner-Up position at the prestigious National Nurse Leader Summit 2025, held in Goa from August 22 to 24, 2025. The event was organized by the Association of Nurse Executives – India (ANEI), bringing together nursing leaders and professionals from across the country to celebrate excellence in nursing leadership and innovation.

Ms. Biswas earned this national recognition for her impactful and innovative project titled:
“Fasten the Loops to Loosen the Clasp: Strategic Reduction of Central Line Associated Bloodstream Infections.”
Her project demonstrated a data-driven and patient-centered approach to significantly reduce the incidence of Central Line Associated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSIs)—a critical quality and safety concern in healthcare settings. 

Ms. Biswas also participated in panel discussion on “Holistic solution for skin integrity management”,  more than 100 nurse leaders participated on this.
